September is back...
As I enter into my 3rd year as a fully qualified primary school teacher, I thought it about time that there were a space that allowed me to share the tales, woes, and utter hilarity that comes with working with a lively selection of 8-9 year olds all day.
Since September has just begun, I am getting settled into new routines, and 'breaking in' my fresh-from-summer-I-remember-nothing new class of Primary 5 children. 'Strict' teacher routine has started to initiate some order, and I'm intently waiting upon the learning and laughter to come.
At the start of the year, I often ask the children to outline their strengths and abilities, to help me get a greater insight into their personalities and preferences. Some are more honest than others;
I am looking forward to sharing the insightfulness of an 8 year old's mind with you all.
